About Us

We are a Christian organisation set up to help individual writers, teachers, musicians and artists by producing, promoting and distributing their material.

We started in June 2008 with the launch of A12 to Heaven written by Phil Stoddart. Phil writes “Looking back, it still seems inconceivable that anything positive could come out of such tragedy. During the year after the deaths of my teenage daughters in the summer of 2006, God met with me in some extraordinary ways and compelled me to write the book. Even then I knew that was just the start.”

This remarkable story has already sold over 3000 copies since publication in August 2008 and out of this first venture has grown Lastword Publications. A year later we published Wendy Virgo’s Life Issues. In this book, Wendy the wife of ‘Newfrontiers’ founder Terry, has taken the words of Paul in Titus 2v2-5 as inspiration for a series of practical discussions for women on Biblical principles about building healthy marriages, homes and families.

In February of this year a third book was produced called He Loves Me Not? The author Joanne Robinson is a Christian counsellor and member of a Baptist church in Norfolk. It’s another title aimed at women but what makes it different to Wendy’s book is the focus on broken relationships. Jo has a wealth of experience in this area and uses biblical principles to show how God can heal the bruises and how to avoid getting them in the first place!

As for the future, we are currently working with other authors, all of whom are leaders at the forefront of planting and building healthy churches. These include a small book on facing death when challenged by an incurable illness and more mainstream subjects such as a practical approach to grace, the role of prophets in the church and the pursuit of social justice.

Our desire is to see many of our books available to purchase in both secular and Christian outlets. We have already had some success but much more is needed.

If we are to grow and expand our work, we need to keep producing new materials and gain access to more distribution outlets so that our books can be offered to as wide an audience as possible. In short, we need to sell more to produce more.
